The most visible is the new ribbon, which Microsoft introduced with Office 2007. What can be more interesting are the new features file management, such as identifying duplicate files improved, support for multiple channels in the Server Message Block (SMB) protocol, and better management of confirmations and interruptions. IT professionals in particular will love that they can now mount ISO and VHD files directly from Windows Explorer. There are many more new features in Windows Explorer.
