These are tough times are ahead for programmers of malware (and third party

antivirus

software vendors). It seems that Microsoft Security Essentials will not be integrated into Windows 8. However, Windows Defender will become full-fledged antivirus software as it will not only protect against spyware

, as in Windows 7, but also against viruses and worms. It will also feature real-time protection. SmartScreen, the Microsoft malware protection based on reputation, which protect not only Internet Explorer but Windows 8. Windows 8 will also be cured with an enhanced Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR), kernel improvements, and a new bunch of Windows.
